Markets flat; Sensex, Nifty open above key marks

30-share BSE Sensex gained nearly 150 points in pre-opening session to open at 37,850-levels, but could not hold on to the gains in the morning. At 9.29 am, the gauge was up 43.53 points at 37,735.93. The broader 50-share NSE Nifty was trading above the 11,400-mark.
