CBI chief Alok Verma, special director Rakesh Asthana in ugly public spat

Accusing Asthana of intimidating officers who were probing corruption cases against him, CBI, through the official spokesman, dismissed his allegation that agency chief Alok Verma sought to thwart investigations into important cases, including one concerning the IRCTC scam in which RJD chief Lalu Prasad and family are accused.
