Indian shooters take giant strides

Indian shooters made a huge leap by finishing third in the medals tally of the ISSF World Championships in Changwon, South Korea, that concluded on Friday. The shooters ended their campaign with a record 27 medals -11 gold, 9 silver and 7 bronze - and finished behind toppers China (43) and host South Korea (36) in the quadrennial event.
