Markets surge as Sensex regains 38,000-mark on positive sentiments

Investor confidence got boosted as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold a meeting with finance ministry officials on Friday to discuss the fall in the rupee and other economic issues. Sensex gained 372.68 points to close at 38.090.54 while the Nifty finished trading at 11,515.20, up 145.30 points.
