SC extends 5 activists' house arrest until Sep 12

The Supreme Court on Thursday extended until September 12 the house arrest of the five rights taken into custody last week. Seeking custody for the activists' interrogation, thepolice a day earlier told SC that house arrest only restricts the physical movement of the accused and that they can always ensure destruction of evidence while at home.
