Sensex up 100 points, Nifty solid above 11,000

30-share BSE Sensex soared more than 300 points in pre-opening trading and looked like regaining the 37,000-mark. The gauge, however, settled to a 100-point lead in early trading. At 9.28 am, the index was up 80 points and above 36,700-mark.
