Soon, e-rickshaws to have automatic headlights

The government has woken up to the trend of accidents caused by electric vehicles across the world as these don't emit any noise to alert pedestrians and cyclists. 'Aaptive lighting system' will be made mandatory in these vehicles, which will mean the lights will get automatically switched on as soon as daylight drops below a set norm.
