Section 377 verdict: Meet the people behind the petitions

From journalists to social activists, an entire group of people paved the way for the Supreme Court's verdict which decriminalised a portion of Section 377 of the IPC, which criminalises gay sex. The apex court clubbed 35 petitions filed by persons from the LGBTQ community, social activists, NGOs and students. Here are some of the petitioners:
