Pension disbursal in 21 states, UTs will soon be fully digital

Kerala has been the first state where Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) successfully implemented 100% digital solution for pension disbursal. Jharkhand, Odisha and Maharashtra offices are conducting pilot projects for issuing e-authorisations. CAG's new project will ensure disbursal possible within a month of the retirement of an employee in 21 states and UTs.
