India's complete Asiad contingent: 311 men, 260 women, 36 sports

After a series of disagreements and legal battles over selection or non-selection of India squads/athletes for various sports, the Indian Olympic Association's (IOA) final list for the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang in Indonesia counted 571 athletes.
