Supreme Court allows live streaming of court proceedings

The Supreme Court on Wednesday agreed to live streaming of court proceedings and said necessary rules balancing right of public and protecting dignity of litigants would be framed soon. Live-streaming will effectuate "public right to know" and bring in more transparency in judicial proceedings, said the top court.
