Bengaluru third biggest home to startups globally

Bengaluru has third highest number of tech startups after the Silicon Valley and London; India too stands at third-largest startup ecosystem after US and UK, with 1,200 tech startups emerging in 2018, bringing the total to between 7,200 and 7,700. However, investments in the seed stage have fallen and in early-stage grew just marginally.
