Essar Steel lenders pick Arcelor as highest bidder

The SC on October 4 had directed Numetal and Arcelor-Mittal to clear arrears of defaulting companies associated with them within two weeks to become eligible to bid for Essar Steel. This deadline expired on Thursday.
