IL&FS woes more complex than believed: New board

After a marathon five-hour board meeting, IL&FS's newly appointed non-executive chairman Uday Kotak indicated that the complexities were far more than earlier believed. “The board was made aware that there are 348 entities as part of the group — this is more than double the earlier assessment and this underscores the task at hand,” he said.
