SC bars Rao from taking big decisions; scanner on transfers

Just 72 hours after being made interim CBI director because of an ugly feud between agency chief Alok Verma and his deputy Rakesh Asthana, the Supreme Court on Friday immobilised M Nageswara Rao by ordering him to take no major decisions till further orders.
