After the high of the last two years, India’s badminton stars have had a barren spell this year with Saina Nehwal’s gold medal in the Commonwealth Games the only title to show for their efforts. While Kidambi Srikanth has fallen well short of the form that saw him win four SuperSeries titles in 2017, PV Sindhu has once again been prone to falling at the final hurdle.
