J&J hip implants: Govt OKs compensation of up to Rs 1.2 crore

Patients who suffered from Johnson & Johnson’s faulty hip implants will be eligible for compensation ranging from Rs 30 lakh to Rs 1.2 crore as the union health ministry has accepted the norms suggested by the central expert committee formed to determine the quantum of compensation.
