No sign of impending polls in Rajasthan’s ‘last village’

Called as Rajasthan’s ‘last village’, Tanot, is 10km from India-Pakistan border. There are 49 dwellings with 495 voters. The arid region reeling under drought has been ignored by politicians. They claim that financial assistance for the construction of toilets and houses hasn’t been extended. The nearest school is 50Kms away. Frequent desert storms, makes life harder.
