Supreme Court asks Alok Verma to file response 'as quickly as possible' to CVC report, says no adjourning of hearing

CBI director Alok Kumar Verma, sent on leave by the government, on Monday sought more time to file a reply on the Central Vigilance Commissions' report. The reply which was to be filed at 1pm today will now be filed around 4pm following the Supreme Court's nod.
